Peter's Law School Graduation

First off can I just say

FINALLY!

We have been waiting on this day for a long time and it was finally here!!! I'm so so proud of Peter and how hard he has worked going to school and working multiple different jobs to provide for our family the last three years. I honestly had to hold back the tears as he walked across that stage and the last three years flashed through my mind. Landon and Jackson being born, a school transfer, three moves, countless late nights studying and much more. It wasn't easy by any means, and I know Peter questioned his decision and also himself on whether he could really do it many times. But he did, he did it and I couldn't be more excited for him! We were so grateful that both of our families came out for graduation. We had such a blast with them, going to the Zoo, having a BBQ and playing lots of games. We loved it and it was the perfect way to celebrate Peter's accomplishments.

Peter is now studying for the bar full time. He takes it July 26th and 27th. The boys and I will be visiting family for the month of July so he can focus without distractions. I know he will do great but we will miss him very much!

Pollie and Robert Got Married!

Peter's sister Pollie got married in April and we are so glad we were able to be there for it! We spent a couple days with my family when we first got to Utah which was great to be able to see both families in one trip! We went to Kangaroo Zoo and all the kids had a blast. We may have had a sisterly race as well!

Then it was off to Logan for all of the wedding festivities! We were able to see some family members that we haven't seen in a long time which is always nice and Landon loved seeing his cousins! We got pedicures and spent lots of time celebrating the new couple! Pollie of course looked gorgeous and I was so honored that she asked me to do her hair and makeup for the big day!

We love you Pollie and Robert! Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day! It couldn't have been more beautiful!

And of course we had a few dance parties on the drive home!

Easter 2016

Holidays are getting more and more fun with the boys getting older. Landon was old enough to participate in a community Easter egg hunt this year where he got to meet the Easter bunny! The boys also really got excited to see their Easter baskets on Easter morning. We love Easter and we are of course very grateful for the reason for Easter as well. "He is not here, for He is risen." Matthew 28:6

Jackson's First Birthday

On March 18th, our little Jackson turned one! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. We absolutely love being a family of four and we couldn't imagine a better second child. He is so patient with Landon constantly beating up on him. We love our little one year old! To celebrate we went to a kiddie park called Monkey Bizness. It is so fun to see the boys play there. They have everything from bouncy castles to obstacle courses and even a big interactive mat on the floor. We also went out for pizza and of course did cake and presents. Simple, but Jackson had an absolute blast all day and that's what is important.

I made a video of Landon right before Jackson was born basically of his first year and I decided to go ahead and make it a tradition to do a video of each one of our kids for their first birthday. I would do it for each kid on each birthday but really who has time for that? I'm trying to stay realistic here! Anyway here is Jackson's first year video.
