Thanksgiving

This year we spent Thanksgiving with my family in Utah. We all met up at my sister Shanna's house. It was so much fun to be together and to get to see my little brother Brad open his mission call! He leaves on January 16th and he is going to Richmond, Virginia! So exciting! I loved spending time with my family for the week!

Thanksgiving day:

My niece Olivia was so excited to show some Thanksgiving songs she learned at school. So cute!

Friday night we went to Temple square to see the lights. Unfortunately Peter got the flu so he stayed home that night, but here are some pictures of the night.

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Life

Lately life has been crazy and exciting! First of all I went out to Colorado a few weeks ago to help my parents move... CRAZY! I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who was really sad about this move, I guess I'm just sentimental and I have a lot of really good memories in that house. Anyways my parents moved into an apartment because they are waiting for their new house to be built in Utah! EXCITING!  It's pretty cool that my parents will be living closer, but definitely weird that when we go home to visit we will now be going to Utah!? Weird, I'm really going to miss Colorado.

So my little brother Brad is a freshmen here at BYU-I and it has been so much fun having him around! We pretty much hang out with him at least a few times during the week and then he comes over for Sunday dinners, so we get to see him quite a bit. Brad also plays on the competitive basketball team and he has a game every Friday night; which Peter and I of course never miss! It's so much fun to watch Brad play and his team is undefeated which also makes the games really fun to watch.

Last week was also Brad's 19th birthday! We went to some haunted houses, ate yummy food and just had a fun night. His mission papers are officially in, now we are just waiting for his call! Can't wait!

Graduation

A couple weeks ago Peter and I graduated from BYU-Idaho. Peter is so glad to be done with his Bachelors and I decided to walk with him for my Associates degree. My family was able to come out for graduation to support Peter and me and it was so nice to have them here visiting for a little while. Here are some pictures from their visit and from graduation:

Glow in the dark mini golf

Balladium: kind of like laser tag only with foam balls... or at least that's what it turned into!

Getting ready to race some go-karts

Graduation

Peter was lucky enough to be able to get a full time job using his degree as a credit consultant with a law firm a few days before graduation. I am still going to school full time and loving everyday of it.

Summer Lovin'

This past month has been kinda busy but super fun for us. So here is a little catch up on what we have been up to lately.

Peter's 24th birthday was on June 17th. To celebrate we went to dinner at Red Robin and went to our favorite place these days: the drive-in movie. Here's some pictures from the day.

One of Peter's friends from his mission invited us to go boating with a group of friends. Peter and I both tried wake surfing for the first time, which is kind of like wake boarding only you ride the wake from the boat and you're not strapped into the board. It was such a fun day!

The week of the 4th of July we went to Peter's family reunion at Bear Lake. We stayed in a lodge in town with the rest of the family. It was great celebrating the 4th all together.

We loved spending time with our cute nieces and nephews.

Go-carting!

After the reunion Peter's sisters Pollie and Savannah came to Rexburg to spend a few days with us. We went and saw The Amazing Spiderman which we loved! We also played some fun arcade games!

It was so great being able to spend time with family! Sorry for the crazy long post we have done so much this past month! Hope you are all enjoying your summer!
