I can't say enough good things about our new ward here. They have seriously been so welcoming and kind to us. I often get home from running errands and find homemade bread and other treats waiting for me on our doorstep from women in the ward. We have been to probably 5 or 6 different families homes for Sunday dinners. Seriously they are amazing! I really thought the baby shower I had in Utah was amazing and I wasn't planning on there being more than that one. When two new friends of mine approached me and told me they were throwing me another shower, I was so surprised! They have only known me a short time and I just couldn't believe how nice they were being by going out of their way to do this for me. I have to admit that I was a little nervous that because we were so new in the ward that not very many people would come. When I showed up to the shower and saw how many people were there, it made me feel so loved! There were almost 20 women who came, and for some of them this was the first time they had ever met me! The shower was so fun and I will always be grateful to be part of a church where it is so easy to meet new friends. They have made this move so much easier. It has been hard to be far away from family especially when we are about to have our first baby but I feel like all the girls in my ward treat me like a sister and I will love them all forever because of it.
I totally forgot about pictures until after the shower was already over but here are a couple that we took real quick.
Jaemi and Sarah
I will love them forever!
